acQuire CEO Alison Atkins nominated for WiTWA Awards
WiTWA, a Perth-based, not-for-profit organisation that supports women in tech is hosting their annual WiTWA Tech [+] 20 Awards. WiTWA aims to encourage more women into tech [+] roles and organisations in WA, and to progress those already in these careers for greater parity and equality.
We’re proud to announce acQuire’s CEO, Alison Atkins, has been nominated for the annual awards, recognising her as an outstanding role model in the Western Australian tech industry and as the leader of our global technology company.
Not only is Alison the CEO of acQuire but she’s held a diverse career with previous roles in mineral exploration, mining and management and is actively involved in STEM mentoring programs. She’s listed alongside some incredible and talented women as a nominee.
The WiTWA Awards celebrates the outstanding female role models working in tech, science and innovation and judges nominations based on leadership, technical strength and personal determination.
The awards are announced on 24 October 2019.
