GIM Suite 5.7 brings data quality and system insight together.

PERTH, WESTERN AUSTRALIA – 4 November 2026

Global information management software company, Acquire Technology Solutions (Acquire), has released GIM Suite 5.7, giving teams greater visibility into database health, deeper insight into system usage and more accessible QA/QC in the web.

The release helps teams find data issues earlier, understand how GIM Suite is used across their organisation and manage trusted geoscientific data with confidence.

Find data issues before they reach your reports.

As a database changes over time, data issues can be hard to spot until they affect reporting. Finding them earlier means less time fixing problems later.

Database Insights puts a one-click health check inside GIM Suite. It runs a standard set of diagnostics against the Acquire data model and gives you a snapshot of your database health.

Database Insights gives database managers:
• A built-in health check within GIM Suite.
• More than 20 diagnostic queries covering the key areas of the data model.
• Self-service checks that help resolve many issues without raising a support request.

Regular health checks can become part of your data governance process, helping you find and address issues before they affect downstream reporting.

“Database health changes quietly as more people work in the same system, and problems often show up only when a report looks wrong,” said Steve Jeffrey, Product Owner at Acquire. “Database Insights gives database managers a one-click view of their database, so they can find issues and fix them before they reach reporting.”

See how your team uses GIM Suite.

Understanding how people use GIM Suite is hard without visibility of user and workspace activity.
Workspace Analytics gives database managers dashboards and usage metrics that show how GIM Suite is used in practice, with insight into user, task and object-level activity.

With Workspace Analytics, teams can:
• Identify highly used and underused functionality.
• Understand how users work.
• Back decisions with evidence.
• Track the impact of training and process improvements.
With objective usage data, database managers can see where additional training or process improvements may be needed.

Run your QA/QC workflows in the web.

Perform QA/QC analysis directly in the web using familiar validation workflows and charting capabilities from GIM Suite Desktop.
Complete your geological data workflows without switching between desktop and browser.

“QA/QC works best when it’s part of the everyday workflow, not a separate step on one desktop,” explains Steve Jeffrey. “With the same validation workflows in the web, it’s easier for teams to check their data as part of their daily work and feel more confident in the decisions built on it.” Steve Jeffrey, Product Owner at Acquire.

Send despatch information to the lab with fewer manual steps.

Users can now preview a despatch PDF and attach the required CSV files to an email directly from their task, reducing manual steps when sending despatch information to the laboratory.

Bringing data quality and system insight together.

GIM Suite 5.7 also includes additional usability, governance and platform improvements that support everyday workflows, as Acquire continues to invest in software designed for the future of data management.
