GIM Suite 5.6 introduces Single Sign On (SSO), giving users one secure login across all devices and platforms.
SSO simplifies access for geologists by removing the need for multiple passwords. It also strengthens security and centralises user management, making it easier for organisations to control access and maintain compliance.
With less time spent on logins and administration, teams can stay focused on their work.

GIM Suite 5.6 delivers a more streamlined and configurable sample despatch process, helping improve accuracy, visibility and coordination from field to laboratory.
The enhanced workflow allows teams to:
- Configure sampling details to match site-specific processes.
- Use quick filters to identify samples that require action, including ready-to-send and returned samples.
- Ensure the right information is visible at each stage of the workflow.
Geologists can now include clear handling instructions and risk information, such as the presence of fibrous materials, directly in sample documentation. This gives laboratories early visibility to support safer handling, regulatory compliance and a clear audit trail.
“Getting samples to the lab with the right information attached is critical. Errors or omissions at that stage can cause costly delays and rework for everyone involved,” explains Steve Jeffrey.
