Armando brings more than fifty years of experience in executing and consulting on geological exploration and QA/QC, geological modeling, due diligence, arbitration, audits, and other related project work across North and South America, Africa, Asia, Australia and Europe. He has worked across a wide range of deposit types, including various base and precious metals, specialty metals and industrial minerals in diverse geological settings.
Armando has also served as a Qualified Person (QP) for numerous NI 43-101 Technical Reports on base/precious metals and industrial minerals. He holds professional registration with various international organisations, including AIG (Australia), PGO (Canada), SME and AIPG (USA), EFG (Europe), CCCRRM (Chile) and CBRR (Brazil), qualifying him as a QP/Competent Person in most major mining jurisdictions.
He is also a Fellow of the Geological Society (UK) and Fellow of the Society of Economic Geologists (USA), and a Member of CIM (Canada).
Armando holds a Ph.D in Economic Geology and has more than thirty years of graduate and post-graduate teaching experience. He has conducted QA/QC workshops for over 3900 professionals from 55 countries.
He is fluent in Spanish, English, Portuguese, French, Russian and Romanian.
