Christopher Spooner - GIM Suite Professional
Chris is an exploration geologist and technologist with more than 30 years of experience across the mining industry. He began his career as a field geologist, working on exploration programmess across Australia, North America, and Africa. During this time, he discovered a passion for improving geological workflows through technology and later completed a formal qualification in computer science.
After a decade in the field, Chris moved into geological data management, spending 13 years at acQuire. He led major implementations across Australasia and Africa and before joining the development team as a product owner, contributing to enhancements within the GIM Suite.
More recently, Chris returned to a major mining company, where he combined his geological and technological background to deliver practical and scalable digital solutions for global geological teams.
Chris is driven by a simple goal: to make geological data easier, cleaner, and more useful through smart, modern technology.
