It could be said that the real issue facing the resource industry today is not the volatility in commodity prices, but the lack of investment capital brought on by continued uncertainty in the global financial markets.
Although commodity prices remain historically high; we are now expected to minimize the risk exposure for investors where risk is the inherent nature of the mineral resource industry. How do we advance our exploration programmes when investor confidence is wavering and access to capital is devoid or the terms are exorbitant?
