Technology company acQuire supports local Santiago community

SANTIAGO, Chile (31 August 2016) – Global technology company acQuire Technology Solutions announced its continued support for retirement home Fundación Las Rosas – Hogar Nuestra Señora de La Paz for the fifth year in a row as part of its broader Community Connect program.

Since 2011, acQuire has donated money, personal care items and staff time to the Santiago retirement home.

The donations of supplies, resources and money is part of acQuire’s Community Connect program aiming to make a difference to local communities around the world. With seven offices around the globe, acQuire make donations in each location that it operates.

On August 25, 2016 acQuire announced to Fundación Las Rosas director Sister Ana Lidia Cruz, it would donate new supplies for patient rooms for the home over the next couple of months.

It adds to the CLP 10,300,000 (AUD 20,700) donated over the last five years.

Santiago office Community Connect committee member, Javier Filippi said the local office donates to the retirement home because the elderly need support in Chile.

acQuire is a diverse company and it’s a segment we felt needed support. Elderly people in Chile need help, especially if they are homeless,” Filippi said.

Staff not only donate money and supplies, but also spend time at the home on a regular basis with the residents.

Every time we visited we prepared afternoon tea accompanied with movies and recreational activities including dance and music!” Filippi said.

acQuire made the announcement of support as part of its 20th anniversary celebrations in Santiago last week.
