Steve has worked as an underground mine geologist for 4 years before joining Metech’s Minesight team in 2002. In the 5 years with Metech, Steve have been involved in grade control and mine planning implementations of Minesight and acQuire in Australia, Papua New Guinea, New Zealand, Indonesia, Laos and Ghana. Steve recently moved to the acQuire BD team in October.

Ian Lipton is a geologist with almost 30 years experience in minerals exploration, mine geology and resource estimation. He currently manages about 180 engineers, earth scientists of various types, and environmental specialists in Golder Associates’ Brisbane office.

Chris Harman. Blue Energy - Introducing the Coal Seam Gas Industry (30/11/2009)
Chris Harman is a qualified geologist with experience in minerals, coal and coal seam gas industries. He started off as a mud logger with Baker Huges Intec before moving in field geology with MEGS and Geoconsult. He first came in contact with acquire in 2004 working as a geological contractor to NCA (Xstrata). He extended his expertise in acQuire as project geologist at Oakey Creek Coal operations in central Queensland. Chris gained advanced experience in development and implementations of site specific acQuire data management structures during his time at Golder Associates and San Anton Resource Corporation (Mexico). Chris is currently Geologist for Blue Energy, and is an active participant in the development of new plays, grass roots exploration and development/management of Blue Energy’s standard corporate data base. Over the past 12 months, Chris has been working as a leader with acQuire and is staff in the development of geochemical data base management system which is specific to the coal seam gas industry.

Tim Browne, acQuire - acQuire Interoperability Update (30/11/2009)
Tim completed his Bachelor of Science in Geology and Computer Science in late 2004 and has gained approximately 3 Years varied Geological and Geotechnical experience since. On completion of his degree he migrated to the United Kingdom where he spent approximately 2 years working as a Geotechnical Engineer for a Site Investigation drilling and consultancy firm. On leaving the United Kingdom in 2007 Tim returned to Australia where he was employed in Mount Isa as a Project Geologist with a junior uranium exploration firm working predominantly to assess the potential for uranium deposits in the exploration tenements which directly surround the Mt Isa Mines Mining Lease.

Mac Denton, acQuire - QBox - An Industry Practice Solutions (11/06/2009)
Mac has 13 years industry experience and prior to joining acQuire held a number of roles including grade control geologist (open pit and underground), resource development geologist and Database/QAQC Geologist at various gold/copper operations. Mac has been with acQuire for 5 years working as a GDA carrying out implementations, training and support. Most recently Mac moved to the QBox team and is a GIM Specialist. -
