acQuire Managed Services pricing has two main components: a fixed fee and a variable fee.
Fixed Fee
The fixed fee is a monthly charge, which covers the costs for “people” and “technology” that acQuire incurs regardless of the drilling campaign. Specifically, this includes the GDA time involved in Implementation and Deployment (I&D), computer and communications hardware, Managed Services overheads, shipping and shipping insurance and 3rd party software. This fee is payable a month in advance, commencing on the date we receive a purchase order and on the 14th of every month thereafter.
Variable Fee
Typically, the variable fee invoice has two line items:
- A “throughput” fee based on actual metres drilled
- A fee for customer satellite usage *
Customers are billed on the 14th of every month in arrears.
The throughput fee covers the provision of the acQuire Managed Services, including hardware monitoring and management, acQuire software licences, satellite communications costs, GDA support and the optional Operational Support services.
Customers are charged as per the $/metre price for every metre drilled. (Please contact acQuire for our current price list).
acQuire Managed Services includes an additional acQuire module, which is used to generate a “Metres Drilled” report for the drilling period. This is used by our finance department to generate the monthly invoice.
All acQuire Managed Services satellite usage is included in the throughput price. However, customers have the option of using the satellite for their own purposes and acQuire Managed Services produce a monthly report for the customer detailing their usage. This report is used by acQuire’s finance department to generate the second line item on the variable fee component of the monthly invoice.
Other Variable Fee Items
We include sufficient consumables, such as printer ink and barcode tags, for the drilling campaign based on typical usage. If more ink or tags are required, they will be added to the variable fee invoice, along with a shipping fee. If the optional Operational Support services are selected, time spent on requests not included in the services will also be billed on the variable fee invoice.
* The Throughput Fee covers the costs of satellite usage associated with providing the Managed Services, including database synchronisation and remote management via Kaseya. Optionally, customers can request to use the satellite for email, internet access etc. This usage is “Customer Usage” and is billed at a fixed monthly rate per MB of satellite time.
