acQuire Launches LinkedIn acQuire GIM Forum

The acQuire LinkedIn User Group was founded in 2009. Although we have 350 members in the group, there has not been any leadership (by acQuire) to drive discussion about Geoscientific Information Management (GIM).

acQuire is now keen to build a GIM community of practice through social media activities. Our first initiative is the acQuire GIM Forum where we will discuss a variety of topics ranging from the accountability of the GIM process to innovations in technology. In short, any topic that is relevant and important to GIM enthusiasts will be taken up in this forum.

acQuire will have other social media initiatives that will be specifically related to the acQuire products and services. These will be linked to our website. However, this particular forum is dedicated to discussions that relate to the processes, roles, people and technologies associated with GIM.
